Tesco HSC Off Campus Drive 2024 Roles & Responsibilities :
- Basic knowledge of concepts related to Windows Servers; VMware; Networks; Storage; Databases and Cloud
- Has knowledge of standard monitoring tools like SCOM; Nagios; HP OneView; Splunk; AppsDynamics for IT event and alert management
- Should be well-versed with ITIL concepts covering Incident Problem & Change Management
- Has prior experience with the usage of any established tool (like Service Centre; Zendesk; Service Now; Remedy) for handling tickets
- Applicant should be flexible to work in 24×7 shifts with rotational week offs
- Possesses excellent communication skills
- Act as first point of contact/escalation for any Infrastructure or application related issue reported via operational monitoring or a service / help desk.
- Record the investigations & findings accurately in ticketing tools for further reference.
- Prioritize issues based on impact and urgency transfer or escalate where required
- Highlight wide impact issues and coordinate with relevant teams to facilitate resolution within SLA
- Collaborate with colleagues within the team cross-functional teams vendors and infrastructure to resolve/escalate incidents/problems
- Retain ownership of the issues and keep stakeholders informed of the progress
- Identify patterns of repetitive tickets and flag it to Senior Systems Analyst to get a solution/workaround
- Identify and recommend process improvements where relevant
- Stay customer focused demonstrate empathy even when under pressure with clear and concise communications
- Keep up to date with technology and use this knowledge to improve resolution times
- Self-motivated team player & adaptable to new technology
- Possess knowledge of relevant SLA’s and their implications for support
- Seek to pass on knowledge to others and manage time efficiently
