- Data Centre Engineers are responsible for the overall management of data centre infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and other hardware. This involves installation, configuration, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Continuous monitoring of data centre systems to identify and resolve issues promptly. Data Centre Engineers need to be adept at troubleshooting hardware and network problems, addressing issues such as server outages, connectivity issues, or hardware failures.
- Planning and managing the capacity of the data centre to ensure that it can meet current and future needs. This involves assessing resource utilization, predicting growth, and making recommendations for upgrades or expansions to support business requirements.
