What you’ll be doing:
- LEARN leading technological stacks.
- MAINTAIN the business continuity by driving the opportunity to make systems highly resilient.
- PROACTIVELY monitor and improve end-to-end system performance and identify bottlenecks and potential failures.
- PARTICIPATE in supporting a 24×7 rotation for production issue escalation, if needed.
- PARTNER with engineering & product teams to provide highly available and reliable systems.
- WORK with the broader team to build and maintain high-performance, flexible and highly scalable web and mobile-based applications.
- PERFORM technical root causes analysis and outline corrective action for given problems.
- ACHIEVE engineering excellence by implementing standard practices and standards.
What we are looking for:
- Freshers with background in Computer Science and interested in programming, system engineering and troubleshooting.
- Understanding Windows & Linux systems including networking concepts.
- Preferred having an understanding of monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, New Relic, Pingdom, Sentry, TICK stack, etc.
- Preferred understanding of GIT, bitbucket, or GitHub and the Features of branching workflow.
- Preferred having understanding of Amazon AWS (EC2, S3, CloudFront, Route53, RDS, autoscaling, ECS, Redshift)
- Preferred having understanding of emerging DevOps tools (Spinnaker, Packer, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins)
- Understanding in Agile development environment • Strong sense of urgency and ownership over critical problem areas.
