<html>
<head>
   <style>

      .a{hyphens: auto;}
      .b{hyphens: manual;}
      .c{hyphens: none;}
   </style>
</head>
<body>

   <h2>hyphens: auto</h2>
   <p class="a">Sub&shy;network is a part of larger network like Internet</p>

   <h2>hyphens: manual</h2>
   <p class="b">Sub&shy;network is a part of larger network like Internet</p>

   <h2>hyphens: none</h2>
   <p class="c">Sub&shy;network is a part of larger network like Internet</p>

</body>
</html>
Output

hyphens: auto

Subnetwork is a part of larger network like Internet

hyphens: manual
